FACADE

The facade uses a reflective glass that reflects the street and the cars. The top portion is made out of perforated metal, inspired by the perforated leather seating. The lighting resembles the trident piercing through the facade, giving it a dominate look.

LOBBY ENTRY

Upon entry, the large falling piece might seem imposing, as if it has fell from a earthquake eruption. However the water pathway beneath it suggests its lightness and the water refraction that is projected on the large concrete piece gives it a beautiful natural cave-like feeling.

LOUNGE OCEANO

The lounge area is designed around the idea that it is submerged underwater. The verde vermont marble with water like pattern wraps up into the ceiling, and the blue carpet reminds the view of the ocean floor. The lighting is rather dim which gives the space more sense of privacy. It is a place for you to have a chat or simply wait for your Maserati.

BAR TETTONICA

The lounge area on the second floor offers more opportunity for strangers to meet and socialize. The lighting is more dynamic and the seating arrangement in the center creates more face-to-face interactions.

THE STAIRS

Supported by carbon fiber cables, the stairs made out of frosted glass lights up underneath your feet. It gives you a sense of dominance and power. It appears to be a challenge that offers sweet reward when you reach the other side.

HALLWAY

The up and down lighting on the walls intensify the shift of the wall planes, this allows the viewer’s dynamic sense to rise before entering the guestroom in order to create contrast between energetic outside the guestroom and relaxation inside it.

SUIT_LIVING SPACE

The entrance guides the viewer’s view toward the city. The lighting planes above are slightly shifted from each other to create a sense of movement. The trim lighting lifts the space up, making the canted walls and heavy material use seem lighter than they are.

BATHROOM

The bathroom uses frosted glass to stimulate a sense of seduction and calmness. The lighting are used to accompany whatever the mood the viewer desire to be in.

BEDROOM

The bedroom uses a large lighting fixture to represent the force of nature using its shear size and faceted geometries, however, behind that glows a calm and graceful light that soothes the viewer. the water refraction on the wall creates a sense of tranquility.
